Spencer, IA (KICD)– Congressman Randy Feenstra made a stop at Spencer High School this week to learn about a program that is giving students the opportunity to learn while on the job.
Congressman Feenstra notes programs like Work Based Learning and No Boundaries are giving students the opportunity to have a head start in the job market that in the end could really help with a problem being seen across the nation.
Feenstra says he would like to take what he learned during his time in Spencer back to Washington D.C. and create some sort of a pilot program that could be used by school districts in other parts of the country.
