Sheldon, IA (KICD)– Two people were hospitalized following a Wednesday afternoon crash east of Sheldon.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says the incident occurred near the intersection of Highway 18 and Oak Hill Avenue shortly before five o’clock when a passenger car driven by 52-year-old Margaret Sterler of Sanborn was while attempting to pass a pickup in front of her that had started to slow and make a turn.

Sterler and the second driver, 26-year-old Jonathan Rozeboom of Sheldon were both taken to a local hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
