Spencer, IA (KICD) — Help continues to arrive from the state of Iowa. Department of Transportation cleanup crews arrived Saturday. Deputy City Manager Kevin Robinson said they picked up a lot of debris in just one day.

Again, those stats from Saturday – the first day of cleanup.

To save time, the debris is being hauled to the fairgrounds instead of being trucked all the way to the landfill in Graettinger.

In an effort to speed cleanup, residents of Spencer are asked to park on the even side of city streets on even days, and the odd side of the streets on odd days.
