Sioux Center, IA (KICD) — Republican Presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis was the keynoter Saturday at Congressman Randy Feenstra’s annual fundraiser in Sioux Center.

The Florida Governor said his state – like Iowa – voted for Barrack Obama, but a non-apologetic conservative agenda can secure a Republican majority.

While much of DeSantis’ half-hour speech focused on social issues, he also said the key to America’s economy is abandoning the electric vehicle mandate.

The biggest reaction from the crowd came as DeSantis said it’s time to lock down the Mexican border.

Congressman Feenstra is not endorsing any of the Presidential candidates, but DeSantis did lock up numerous endorsements from Republican legislative leaders.
