Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Dickinson County Bike Trail is this weekend in Okoboji. Director Erin Reed says Bikes, Brews, and Bites will be held at the Maser Monarch Lodge from 6 until 10 Friday night.

Reed says the link between Spirit Lake and Lake Park is not yet paved but should be by the end of the year.

 

And the Okoboji City Council just voted to support a grant application for a loop around the Pierson Lakes Art Center.

 

Reed tells KICD News there was just minor damage to the Dickinson County trail system during the heavy rains with just a handful of spots under water.
