Graettinger, IA (KICD)– The driver of a vehicle was arrested last weekend after leading Palo Alto County authorities on a pursuit.

Sheriff John King tells us a Deputy attempted to stop an SUV early Saturday morning within the Graettinger city limits, but the driver reportedly failed pull over and began eluding.

The vehicle was pursued until it eventually stopped and the driver, identified as Chase Cole, took off on foot.

Cole was taken into custody a short time later and charged with eluding, third offense operating while intoxicated, violation of a restricted license, open container , speeding, failing to use headlights when required, interference with official acts, four counts of failing to obey a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of a two-way road.
