Swea City, IA (KICD)– A Swea City man is facing a number of charges after police executed a search warrant.

The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office executed that search at home in Swea City and reportedly discovered several firearms, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, 25-year-old Felipe Garza was charged with possession of a short barrel rifle, possession of firearms by a domestic offender, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police also note children are known to live at that address which led to an additional charge of child endangerment and the Iowa Department of Human Services being contacted.
