In High School Softball on Monday, the Sioux Central Rebels made the long trip to Missouri Valley for the Class 2A Region 2 Championship game. Missouri Valley would jump out to a 5-0 lead after the first inning and kept adding through the second and 3rd to take an 8-0 lead. Sioux Central would do their best to charge back into the game, scoring 2 runs in both the 4th and 5th innings, but were unable to push across anymore as Missouri Valley advances to the Class 2A State Softball Tournament with an 8-4 win.
