Vermillion, SD (KICD) – A few KICD area schools competed at the Dan Lennon Class B High School Track and Field Meet in Vermillion, South Dakota at the Dakota Dome on Tuesday.

Here are KICD area results for the Girls Meet. Estherville Lincoln Central’s Hillary Ruschy was 6th in the Shot Put with a throw of 36 feet 4 inches. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s Emily Mutombo was 7th in the Long Jump with a distance of 15 feet 5 inches. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Madison Marco was 8th in the 3200m Run with a time of 11:15.89. The Sibley-Ocheyedan 1600m Sprint Medley Relay team of Wasmund, Hensch, Wingate, and Brouwer was 2nd with a time of 4:27.39. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Madison Marco was 3rd in the 1600m run with a time of 5:40.21. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Alayna Wingate was 7th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.2 seconds. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s Emily Mutombo was 6th in the 60 meter Dash with a time of 8.36 seconds. Estherville Lincoln Central’s 4x200m Relay team of Dunlavy, Shiltz, Yager, and Anderson was 5th with a time of 1:54.86. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Madison Brouwer took 1st in the 800m run with a time of 2:19.8. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s 4x400m relay team of Wingate, Wasmund, Hensch, and Brouwer was 2nd with a time of 4:21.7.

Here are KICD area results for the Boys Meet. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s Ethan Diehm was 5th in the Long Jump with a distance of 19 feet 9 inches. Estherville Lincoln Central’s Parker Duitsman took 3rd in the 3200m run with a time of 10:23.59 while Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Alejandro Bernal was 7th with a time of 10:42.10. Estherville Lincoln Central’s 1600m Sprint Medley Relay team of Shatto, Leanard, White, and Duitsman was 3rd with a time of 3:59.19. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s BEn Byers was 2nd in the 1600m run with a time of 4:46.52. Byers also was 5th in the 800m run with a time of 2:09.63. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s 4x400m Relay team of Marco, Keykes, Byers, and Marco was 7th with a time of 3:52.21.
