Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Director of Elderbridge Agency on Aging says they returned 58 dollars of service for every dollar invested by Clay County in 2023.
Shelly Sindt is making the rounds to their 29 member counties with annual reports.
Elderbridge requests each county donate three dollars and 15 cent per resident over the age of 60 to keep their services free to participants.
Elderbirdge agency says they provided over 32 thousand “units” of help to Clay County residents in 2023, costing 707 thousand dollars; up from just under 27 thousand units in 2022 at a cost of 652 thosuand dollars.
