Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)– An Emmetsburg daycare provider has been charged in a child death investigation that was opened earlier this year.

Information from the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation says 28-year-old Hannah Priest, was arrested Friday and charged with one count of child endangerment, resulting in death, after 23-month-old Sebastian Jespersen was found unresponsive in Priest’s home in January.  He later died at the hospital.

Priest is currently behind bars on 50 thousand dollars bond.
