On Big Country 107.7, the Emmetsburg E-Hawks would host the Ridge View Raptors in the first round of the Class 1A Playoffs.

Emmetsburg scored first on a 3-yard Jace Nelson-Brown Touchdown run to make it 7-0. The E-Hawks would extend their lead to 13 on a Gavin Swanson to Cameron Madden 32-yard Touchdown Pass late in the 1st quarter.

The score would remain 13-0 till late in the 3rd quarter when Gavin Swanson picked up his first rushing touchdown for Emmetsburg, making it 20-0.

Ridge View would force a safety and then get a Touchdown run from Kellan Jensen, but that would be all the Raptors could do offensively as Emmetsburg rolled into the round of 16 with a 20-8 win.

Emmetsburg combined for 185 yards on the ground with 44 carries. The E-Hawk Defense held Ridge View under 200 yards of Total offense.

Emmetsburg will advance to the Round of 16 while Ridge View wraps up their season at 4-5.
