Estherville, IA (KICD) — A traffic stop near Estherville last week has lead to drug charges against two Emmetsburg men.

A deputy stopped 53 year old Jayson Groninga on Highway 4 just south of Estherville Friday morning at 5:30. Marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol were allegedly found inside the vehicle. Groninga and his passenger – 58 year old Billy Henderson – were both arrested on those counts. Groninga was also cited for driving with a suspended license and lack of insurance.
