Spencer IA, (KICD)–The Clay County Board of Supervisors are considering the construction of a permanent building for EMS service.

Environmental Health Director Tammy McKeever says she’d like a structure that takes FUTURE needs into consideration. Especially considering the department’s equipment is currently stored in a barn on the Clay County Fairgrounds.

 

Bids for an engineer to draw up plans came in higher than expected this week which is currently holding up the process while a decision on how to proceed is made.
