Estherville, IA (KICD) — The Estherville Lincoln Central school board has narrowed its superintendent search to three individuals who will be interviewed next Tuesday.
Michael Gossen currently serves as Elementary Principal in Mount Pleasant, Aiddy Phomvisay is the high school principal in Fairfield, and Pamela Stangeland is currently serving as the director of student services for the Boone Community School District.
President Jeff Soper says they narrowed the list to five LAST week, and picked the three top candidates Wednesday.
Soper thanked the public for filling out a recent survey on their priorities for a new, top, administrator; and says they dove-tailed with what the board was already thinking.
Gossen, Phomvisay, and Stangeland will all be in town Tuesday. They’ll be given tours of the community, answer questions from a citizen’s committee, and then do a formal sit-down with the school board. Both of those interviews will be closed to the public.
Soper says they might offer the job to one of the finalists.
