Spencer, IA (KICD)– A favorite annual activity for families will make its return to Spencer’s Clay County Regional Events Center this weekend for its 13th year.

Event Coordinator Alicia Kopriva says Family Fest is set up to entertain all ages.

Kopriva says a fan favorite, Safety City, will once again be set up throughout the day which can also help kids get through an emergency situation.

Kopriva says there will also be several opportunities to take part in some science related activities similar to what Iowa Lakes Community College brings to “Science Saturday” at the Clay County Fair.

Family Fest is free for the whole family and runs Saturday from nine to one all inside the Events Center.
