Spencer, IA (KICD) — The three finalists being considered for Spencer Fire Chief were introduced Thursday night. There’s a local candidate, one from Northeast Iowa, and one from Kentucky.
Jesse Coulton  grew up in California and became a firefighter as a second career when he moved to Dubuque.

Mike Fronimos retires from Kentucky this week and wants to return to administration.

And Spencer’s current Assistant Chief – Mark Stoever – made the cut as one of the top three qualified.

The three candidates for Spencer fire Chief have two rounds of interviews Friday. The city council hopes to approve offering the job to one of them at Monday night’s regular meeting, but won’t publicly announce which of the candidates they’ve selected.
