Spencer, IA (KICD) — Northwest Iowa students are bidding farewell to some new friends this week as several foreign exchange students head home after a year of studies.
Student Willem – from The Netherlands – told KICD News team sports were new to him.

Lorenzo – from Italy – used his soccer skills to be the kicker last fall on the Hartley Melvin Sanbourn football team.

Both students and their host families say they recommend the foreign exchange program for others.
