Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)– A former voice for the Spencer Radio Group has taken on a new role as the Director of the Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce.

Alex Johnson was the morning show host on Newsradio 102.5 and AM 1240 KICD for a period last year and began his new adventure this week in Emmetsburg.

Even in his new position in Emmetsburg, Johnson is still not completely out of the radio business.

One of Johnson’s overall goals leading the Emmetsburg Chamber is to make sure community members have plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy their city and also have the opportunity to meet new people.
