Wallingford, IA (KICD)– Four people were hospitalized folloowing a crash late last week in Emmet County.
Sheriff Mike Martens tells us the incident was reported shortly after 4:30 on the afternoon of January 5th about three miles west of Wallingford where a pickup driven by 71-year-old Martin Juhl of Sherburn reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign leading to a collision with an eastbound passenger car driven by 37-year-old Jodi Subbert of Graettinger.
Both drivers and two children in Subbert’s vehicle were all taken to Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Police say the crash remains under investigation with charges currently pending against Juhl.
