Lakefield, MN (KICD) — Four people involved in a two-vehicle accident near the Iowa / Minnesota border Sunday night were transported to the hospital in Spirit Lake with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol accident report shows 17-year-old Romi Rosenbrook from Lakefield was Northbound on highway 86 and was stopped to turn onto 720th Street and was struck from behind by a vehicle operated by 46-year-old Shellie Williams of Round Lake.

Both drivers, and two passengers with Williams – 17-year-old Ashley Williams and 1 year old Nathan Williams – were all taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The mishap ocurred shortly before 5pm.
