Greattinger, Ia (KICD) – The GTRA Titans and HMS Hawks Girls and Boys Basketball teams clashed in an interconference battle Monday night in Greattinger. KICD’s Matt Groenewold had the call for Big Country 107.7.

Moriah Otto led Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn with 21 points on the evening. Addison Hansen had 13 for GTRA in the loss. HMS improves to 3-3 on the year while GTRA falls to 3-3.

Kasey Hough went for 25 on the evening, one of 4 Titans in double-figures. Bradley Van Beek led the Hawks with 8. HMS falls to 0-5 on the year while GTRA improves to 3-2.

Up next for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will be a road trip to Akron-Westfield in War Eagle Conference play. GTRA is also back in to conference play as they go to East Sac County.
