Spencer, IA (KICD) — With receding water, Spencer residents are already tearing out carpet and drywall. Public Works Director Mark White says debris will be picked up a curbside, but it MUST BE SORTED.

And household hazardous waste must certainly be kept segregated.

Branches will also be collected and must be seperate. And, White says, the weigh station hours have been extended to 8am to 6pm. But operations there, too, must be orderly.

The last load through the gate will be allowed at 5:30pm.
