West Des Moines, Ia (KICD) – The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released their final rankings for 1A, 2A, and 3A Basketball ahead of the regional bracket release on Tuesday.

In 1A the top ranked team is Bishop Garrigan of Algona. Northwest Iowa schools in the 1A rankings Include Newell-Fonda at #2, and Remsen St. Mary’s at #4.

In 2A the top ranked team is Dike-New Hartford. Northwest Iowa schools in the 2A rankings include Central Lyon at #2, Sibley-Ocheyedan #3, Pocahontas Area #8, and Sioux Central #14.

In 3A the top ranked team is Estherville Lincoln Central. Northwest Iowa schools in the 3A rankings include Sioux Center at #6, and Unity Christian at #10.
