Okoboji, IA (KICD) — Iowa D-O-T Engineer Dakin Schultz says the highway 71 project through Okoboji is right on schedule. He says Cedar Valley Contracting and their employees have been very conscientious.

Schultz tells KICD News the spring project is over half way done at this point.

Highway 71 construction is taking place in phases so it doesn’t affect summer traffic. Phase two will be done in the fall; phases three and four next spring and fall; and final details completed in spring of 2025 if necessary.
