Des Moines, Ia (KICD) – The Iowa Sports Writers Association released the Girls Basketball All-State teams on Monday afternoon.
Bishop Garrigan of Algona’s Audi Crooks was selected as Iowa’s Miss Basketaball for 2023.
Northwest Iowa Players in the All-State teams include Alex Flattery of Sioux City East on the 4A 3rd team, Brooklyn Stanley of Bishop Heelan on the 4A 1st team, Jada Newberg of Bishop Heelan on the 4A 2nd team, Jada Piercy of Spencer on the 4A 3rd team, Haylee Stokes of Estherville-Lincoln-Central on the 3A first team, Gracie Schoonoven on Unity Christian on the 3A first team, Willow Bleeker of Sioux Center on the 3A second team, Jordan Stokes of Estherville-Lincoln-Central on the 3A third team, Addison Klosterbuer of Central Lyon on the 2A first team, Madison Brouwer of Sibley-Ocheyedan on the 2A first team, Akaysa Duitscher of Pocahontas Area on the 2A first team, Desta Hoogendoorn of Central Lyon on the 2A first team, Carly Janssen of Pocahontas Area on the 2A second team, Morgan Christian of Sioux Central on the 2A second team, Kora Alesch of MMCRU on the 2A 3rd team, Bailey Boeve of Hinton on the 2A 3rd team, Mary Walker of Newell-Fonda on the 1A first team, Whitney Jensen of Remsen-St. Mary’s on the 1A first team, Kierra Jungers of Newell-Fonda on the 1A second team, and Mya Bunkers of Remsen St. Mary’s on the 1A 3rd team.
