Des Moines, Ia (KICD) – Here are KICD area results from Day 1 of the Drake Relays.

Spirit Lake’s Fran Travis placed 14th in the Girls Discus Throw with a throw of 121′.

Mackenzie Harder of Storm Lake took 23rd in the Girls Long Jump with a leap of 16’1.75”.

In the Boys High Jump, Dylan Stecker of Spirit Lake tied for 17h with a jump of 6’3”. Trevor Turner of Storm Lake tied for 24th along with Emmetsburg’s Byron Maina at 6’1”.
