Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)– A legendary musical act is coming to Preservation Plaza in Arnolds Park on Saturday to help officially open the new stage.
Tommy James has twenty-three gold singles, nine platinum albums and has sold more than 100 million records in his years in the music industry. He joined Kevin and Rhi earlier this week on More 104.9 to talk about what has become a rich history between him and his band the Shondells and Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
James says this weekend’s show will feature as much of his classic music as possible while he hangs out with all of his fans.
Tommy James and Shondells will take the stage Saturday night as part of the FREE “Live at the Lake” summer concert series starting at 7:30.
Due to large crowds being expected, Arnolds Park Amusement Park has secured some additional parking at Calvary Methodist Church and the empty lot next to Oleson Landscape and Design. RIDES will then offer free shuttles from those areas up to the park starting at 5:15.
