Spencer IA, (KICD)– During Tuesdays Clay County board of supervisor meeting EMA Director Eric Tigges gave an update on the flooding situation with the Little Sioux River.

Tigges says that the little Sioux is one of the few rivers still in flood stage in Iowa.

Tigges explains where this year’s flooding ranks with other years in the county.

Tigges says that the river levels on a normal day in June usually are at somewhere between 6 and 9:00 feet and right now it sits at 11 feet.
