Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — The Iowa Assocation of Realtors reports all home sales in July were down 21 percent from last year, and the number of homes of the market fell twelve percent.
The Iowa Great Lakes Board of Realtors has released statistics showing sales were still strong locally last month.

The average sales price of residential property in Dickinson County was 494 thousand dollars, up 9.3 percent from July of 2022. The value of all home sales in the county was 22 million 250 thousand dollars. There were 45 sales in both July of last year and this year. The number of “days on the market” averaged 107 this year, up from 89 last year.

In Clay County there were 24 sales in July, four more than last year. The average price was 198 thousand dollars, up 7.3 percent year over year. Total value of home sales in Clay County was 4.74 million dollars. Average days on the market this year was 103 days, 37 more than one year ago.
