Spencer, IA (KICD)– Two sections of Eastern Clay County road are closed until further notice in anticipation of an upcoming bridge replacement.

The closure affects and one mile stretch of 300th Avenue from 280th to 290th Streets along with 290th Street from 290th Avenue to 300th Avenue.

The bridge in question is expected to be replaced sometime in 2025 and the area will remain closed until that work is finished.
