Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — The Dickinson County Trail Association is about to accomplish a long-time goal. Trail Director Erin Reed says grant money will help complete the paved link from Montgomery to Lake Park that’s currently gravel.

The complettion of what’s called the Tatanka Ska link will help Dickinson County surpass 50 miles of paved trail.
The other major project this year will alter the trail and parking configuration near the Emerald Hills Golf Course.

Dickinson County Trails are also anxious to complete the link South to Clay County, but there’s a hold-up determining the exact route.
