Primghar, IA (KICD) — Authorities suspect just minor injuries to a motorist who drove into the path of an oncoming vehicle near Primghar Friday morning and was trapped inside of his car for a short period of time.

45-year-old Daniel Walker of Hartley was headed East on 320th Street and tells the O’Brien County Sheriff’s department he reached for something and lost control. An oncoming semi was operated by 48-year-old Tyler Fada of Milford who attempted to avoid the collision. A third driver – 68-year-old Jeffry Zernechel of Hartley – then lost control when his vehicle encountered debris in the road.

Walker was transported to the O’Brien County hospital by Hartley ambulance to be checked out.
