Lake View, IA (KICD) — As of last report, a man reported missing last Tuesday in Northwest Iowa has still not been located. The semi operated by 53 year old David Schultz of Lake View was found along the highway 71 and 20 intersection. His cell phone and wallet were still inside. His wife tells media she went to the scene and is quoted as saying “There’s no way Dave would’ve parked his truck like this – there’s no way.”

A group calling itself the the United Cajun Navy says it assists people in need, and started an intense search effort. 75 volunteers worked over the weekend going from building site to building site looking for Schultz, or at least looking for any clues to his whereabouts.

Jacob Rowley identifies himself as a midwest coordinator for the Cajun Navy and says that group received “new information” that led them to focus their search West of Highway 4. He says their volunteers will search through the weekend.
