Arnolds Park, IA (KICD) — It appears a motorcyclist escaped serious injury this morning in an Arnolds Park deer accident.

The man was Northbound on Highway 71 near Emerald Hills Golf course at 5:20am. He was seen skidding along the highway and came to rest on the East shoulder. He was observed sitting up and telling other motorists that his right hand was hurt.

There was also a dead deer on the shoulder. It’s unclear if the motorist made contact with that deer or swerved to miss another.
