Spencer, IA (KICD) — In News of Note from the Spencer City Council meeting Monday night:
Planning Director Adam Severson reported some movement on improving Spencer’s housing stock.

 

 

Spencer Hospital CEO Brenda Tiefenthaler said they’re having some success in filling empty positions

With weather delays on the Emergency Department project, Tiefenthaler now says occupancy is scheduled for late March.
And Public Works Director Mark White says the rain is causing more work at the landfill in Graettinger.

But still not as bad as some past wet spells when that transport was running 24 hours a day.
