Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– A Storm Lake teenager is facing multiple charges following an investigation into a Monday morning assault.

Police were initially called to an apartment building in the 500 block of Oates Street around 4:40 where an adult male was found with serious injuries to his head. The victim was taken to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and later transferred to another medical facility in critical condition.

An investigation led police to 17-year-old Madson Angawan who was charged with second degree robbery, assault while participating in a felony and willful injury, all felony offenses. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on 45-thousand dollars bond.
