Spencer, IA (KICD) — A new bill has been signed into place recently that will allow agricultural classes to count as science credits.

Iowa Representative Megan Jones was the one who sponsored the bill that was signed into effect by Governor Reynolds.

She hopes that with this bill it will promote more students to take agricultural classes.

Jones says that education is always a top priority for for Iowa lawmakers and hopes this will show how easy it can be to put ideas into action.
