Spencer, IA (KICD) — We’re one month away from the Clay County Fair. It will be Jerome Hertel’s first year at the helm.

Hertel became CEO at the fair in April. He says nearly everyone with whom he come in contact, has a connection to the institution.

Hertel is a native of South Dakota who most recently was CEO at the Alaska State Fair.
The Clay County Fair kicks off September 9th.
