Estherville, IA (KICD)– A new elected official has officially taken over the leadership role of the Estherville City Council with the start of the new year.

Adam “AJ” Edwards talked with KICD News following Tuesday’s regular meeting noting he decided to have his name added to the ballot in November following requests from locals.

Edwards has what seems to be a straight forward goal during his first term.

Edwards is local business owner and graduate of Estherville Lincoln Central Schools. He defeated Paul Radamker in a contested race for Mayor in November.
