Spencer, IA (KICD) — The new display at the Clay County Heritage Center focuses on the War to End All Wars.

Museum Director Braden Falline says the story of Clay County’s most famous veteran – Glen Pederson – and Iowa Legion Post Number One is one feature.

There was also a local boy whose body was exhumed and brought home for burial.

In addition to local stories, you can see the touring Iowa World War 1 Wall of Honor.

The Clay County World War One Honor Roll is on display through November.
