Jackson, MN (KICD)– A North Dakota man has been jailed on a warrant related to a pursuit that started in Jackson County earlier this month.
Court records obtained by KICD News say 37-year-old Spencer Dietrich was originally arrested after allegedly being caught traveling at 130 miles per hour near Alpha on April 2nd and then leading police on a pursuit into Martin County that reportedly involved Dietrich temporarily traveling in the wrong lanes of traffic before eventually entering a ditch and being stopped by pursuing officer.
At that time, Dietrich was charged with fleeing a peace officer, fifth degree controlled substance crime and several traffic offenses.
Jackson County Sheriff Shawn Haken tells Dietrich was transferred into his agency’s custody on Sunday morning after he reportedly failed to comply with pre-trial conditions.
