Spencer, IA (KICD) – The Spencer city council approved a contract for infrastructure work on city property Southeast of the North Y this week. Mayor Steve Bomgaars stopped by the KICD Broadcast Center Thursday to discuss the project further. He and the city council believe the property is prime for highway development.

The city of Spencer purchased that 40 acres for 2.2 million dollars last summer.
