Kingsley, IA (KICD)– A Northwest Iowa law enforcement official has been arrested after the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation was called into to look at a potential criminal matter.
Kingsley Police Chief James Dunn was taken into custody on Wednesday two days after the Hinton Police Department requested assistance from the DCI.
Dunn has been charged wtih three counts of falsely obtaining criminal intelligence data, one count of stalking and one count of non-felonious misconduct in office. He remains in custody in the Plymouth County Jail. Online court records showing a preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for later this month.
