Hull, Ia (KICD) – Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley hosted the Siouxland Conference Championships on Thursday in Hull at Hesla Field. Here are top KICD area finishers.
Miley Wells of Okoboji was 3rd in the Girls 100m Dash with a time of 13.21 seconds. In the Boys race, Domnic Marco of Sibley-Ocheyedan took 2nd with a time of 11.67.
Evan Osler of Okoboji won the Boys 400m Dash with a time of 51.59 with Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Dawson Kreykes 3rd, clocking 52.75 seconds.
Okoboji’s Trigg Heimdal was 3rd in the Boys 800m Run with a time of 2:01.59.
Ben Byers of Sibley-Ocheyedan won the Boys 1600m Run with a time of 4:37.01 and Sheldon’s Caleb Huff was 2nd with a time of 4:41.67.
Huff would take 2nd in the Boys 3200m Run with a time of 10:28.5.
In the Boys 110m Hurdles, Elijah Graves of Okoboji won with a time of 15.69 seconds.
For the Boys 400m Hurdles, Sheldon’s Isaac Wenthe won with a time of 54.25 seconds, Okoboji’s Drew Sandven was 2nd at 57.03, and Elijah Graves took 3rd at 57.75.
In the Boys 4x100m relay, Okoboji’s team of Mulhern, Netsch, Storey, and Jutting were 2nd at 44.63 seconds.
The Sibley-Ocheyedan Boys 4x200m Relay team of Marco, Heilman, Getzel, and Marco was 2nd with a time of 1:32.66.
Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Kreykes, Poppen, Reiter, and Byers was 2nd in the 4x400m Relay with a time of 3:31 and Okoboji’s team of Sandven, Heimdal, Heller, and Osler was 3rd with a time of 3:33.03.
In the Boys 4x800m Relay, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Kreykes, Poppen, Reiter, and Byers was 1st with a time of 8:18.6.
Okoboji’s team of Mulhern, Netsch, Jutting, and Osler was 1st in the 800m Sprint Medley Relay with a time of 1:36.22, Sibley-Ocheyedan was 2nd with a time of 1:37.3 made up of a team of Marco, Heilman, Marco, and Getzel.
For the Boys Distance Medley Relay, Okoboji’s team of Mulhern, Netsch, Heller, and Jostand was 2nd with a time of 3:52.57.
The Okoboji Boys Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Graves, Sandven, Simington, and Heller won with a time of 1:01.36
Elijah Graves of Okoboji took 3rd with a height of 5’10” in the Boys High Jump.
Sheldon’s Isaac Wenthe was 1st in the Boys Long Jump with a leap of 21’3.5”.
In the Boys Shot Put, Sheldon’s Parker Thomas was 2nd with a throw of 47’3”.
In the Girls team standings, MOC-Floyd Valley won with 154 points, Okoboji placed 7th with 23, and Sibley-Ocheyedan finished 8th with 1.
In the Boys team Standings, Okoboji claimed the team title with 110 points. Sibley-Ocheyedan took 4th with 76 and Sheldon 5th with 60.
