Orleans, IA (KICD) — The city of Orleans has solicited bids on sewer inspections and periodic cleanouts. Mayor Bill Maas says the recent flooding brought the issue to the forefront.

Maas says an ounce of prevention might be worth a pound of cure.

The city is interested in bids on keeping drains and culverts clear, and televised sewer inspection.
