Spencer, IA (KICD)– Those considering a run for local government or school office in November can take now take out filing papers.

Spencer Mayor Steve Bomgaars says there will be a number of local seats available this time around.

Bomgaars added to his comments by saying he has already taken nomination papers out to run for reelection.
