Lake City, Ia (KICD) – Another number of area schools attended the South-Central Calhoun Cross Country Invite.

In the Girls race, Alta-Aurelia’s Nora Peterson took 1st with a time of 18:57.7 and West Bend-Mallard’s Tyra Schupbach was 2nd with 19:30.0. Ridge View won the Girls race with 56 points, Sioux Central was 3rd with 62, and Pocahontas Area placed 5th.

In the Boys race, Alta-Aurelia’s Jacob Launderville took 3rd with a time of 17:47.4. East Sac County won the Boys race with 36 points, Sioux Central was 2nd, Alta-Aurelia was 8th, and Newell-Fonda placed 11th.
