Coralville, Ia (KICD) – Along with the Volleyball Rankings coming out Wednesday afternoon, the IGHSAU released their Regional Volleyball Pairings. Here is where and when area schools will be playing.

In Class 1A Region 1, the first round will be played on October 16th with the Quarter Finals on October 18th. South O’Brien will travel to Hull to play Trinity Christian with the winner playing at top seeded Boyden-Hull in the Quarter-Finals. West Bend-Mallard hosts GTRA with the winner playing either George-Little Rock or Harris-Lake Park who will be playing in George.

For Class 1A Region 2, the first round will be played on October 16th with the Quarter-Finals on October 18th. Newell-Fonda will host Kingsley-Pierson with the winner playing either Siouxland Christian or Whiting in the Quarter-Finals.

Class 2A Region 1 will have the first round on October 16th with the Quarter-Finals on October 18th. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn is at home against West Sioux with the winner playing at Hinton in the Quarter-Finals. Sibley-Ocheyedan welcomes Sioux Central with the winner playing at Alta-Aurelia in the Quarter-Finals. MMCRU receives a bye and will play Rock Valley on the road in the Quarter-Finals.

Class 2A Region 5 will have the first round on October 16th with the Quarter-Finals on October 18th. Emmetsburg plays at Manson-Northwest Webster with the winner playing at Aplington-Parkersburg in the Quarter-Finals. Pocahontas Area plays host to West Fork with the winner seeing South Hardin in Eldora in the Quarter-Finals. North Union receives a bye and will play at Belmond-Klemme in the Quarter-Finals.

Class 3A Region 1 will have their Quarter-Finals on October 17th. Sheldon goes to Hull to play Western Christian with the winner playing either West Lyon or Spirit Lake who play at the West Lyon High School Campus. Estherville Lincoln Central is at home against Algona with the winner playing either Forest City or Garner Hayfield Ventura.

In Class 3A Region 2, Quarter-Finals will open on October 17th. Cherokee hosts Eagle Grove with the winner playing either Southeast Valley or Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. Okoboji plays MOC-Floyd Valley in Orange City with the winner playing either OABCIG or Unity Christian in the Semi-Finals.

For Class 4A Region 1, the Quarter-Finals will play on October 17th. Spencer plays at Sioux Center with the winner playing in Sioux City against Bishop Heelan of Sioux City.

Class 4A Region 3 will have the Quarter-Finals on October 17th. Storm Lake plays at Humboldt with the winner playing ADM in Adair.
