Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– Two people have been sentenced to probation on convictions from separate Buena Vista County cases.

27-year-old Mayra Munoz of Storm Lake was given three years on probation on Monday in lieu of time behind bars after she pled guilty to felony animal neglect.

That same day, 19-year-old David Washington of Chicago was given three years of probation after pleading guilty in December to trafficking stoeln weapons. Washington was also given seven days in jail for first offense possession of psilocybin mushrooms.
